Wrestling Team Camp

The University of Dubuque Wrestling Team Camp is designed to build wrestlers and coaches in both competition and technique. This is a great opportunity to get personalized daily instruction to help improve your team as well as compete in dual meets against teams from across the country.   Each team will be assigned a staff member from the University of Dubuque wrestling team to help instruct technique daily and provide personal attention to the individuals on your team.

***Teams deposit $300 by May 1 - everyone of their campers will get a $55 / discount on the total price of the team camp and the $300 will be returned at the end of camp with no incidentals as well as a bonus gift to the Head coach at the team Camp!

  • Extra socks and underwear
  • Sleeping bag and pillow
  • Running shoes and wrestling shoes
  • Lots of shirts and shorts
  • (Laundry available for head coaches only)

  • Nick Mitchell - coached 12 NAIA national team titles one of the greatest dynasties in college athletics in any sport
  • Jim Miller - coached 10 NCAA Division III team championships, 21 consecutive Iowa Conference championships

UD Team Camp Includes:

Duals:

  • Campers will wrestle a minimum of 10 matches over the camp’s four days. Duals will be in a round-robin pool format that will be used to seed the tournament. Tournament champions will receive a trophy.

Typical Day:

  • 7:00am - 8:00am: Breakfast
  • 9:00am: Session 1
  • 11:30am - 12:30pm: Lunch
  • 1:00pm - 3:30pm: Session 2
  • 4:00pm - 5:00pm: Motivational Speaker
  • 5:30pm - 6:30pm: Dinner
  • 7:00pm - 8:00pm: Session 3
  • 9:00pm - 10:00pm: Team Building
  • 10:30pm - 11:00pm: Room Check & Lights Out
